Rebuilding the RAID Array from a Computer

Before turning off the LinkStation, determine which hard drive has failed. The failed drive's status LED will be

glowing red.

1 Turn the LinkStation off and remove all cables.

2 Squeeze the left side of the front panel and swing it open.

3 Pull the failed drive's cartridge out of the LinkStation.

Notes:

• Do not press hard on the top of the LinkStation.

• Pull the drive straight out the front of the chassis.

4 Remove the drive from the cartridge.
